About the NextGen UBE in Maryland

Maryland will administer the NextGen Uniform Bar Examination (NextGen UBE) to new law school graduates and less-experienced attorneys licensed to practice in another U.S. jurisdiction beginning with the July 2026 bar exam session.  This page provides important information on the NextGen UBE and policies and procedures that will apply to the first administration of the NextGen UBE in July 2026.
