Update and Approve Position Change Request - Class and Salary Analyst


Concept

In this topic you will go through the steps for updating and approving a position change request.


Steps:

  1. Click the Main Menu button.

  2. Click the Worklist menu.

  3. Click the Worklist menu.

  4. You can sort the Worklist item pages by clicking on the Arrows, First or Last links.

  5. Click the Last link.

  6. Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.

  7. Click the FormApproval, 2411, POSCHG, 1900-01-01, N, 0, Position Change Req link.

  8. Click the Go to Form button.

  9. Verify the details of the request.

  10. Click the Vertical scrollbar to move down the page.

  11. Click in the Job Code field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "2434"
     into the Job Code field.

  13. Click in the Salary Plan field.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "SSS"
     into the Salary Plan field.

  20. A Position Change Request may be approved or denied.

    When denying the request, a reason is required in the comment text box.

     

    NOTE: In order to include a comment when denying the request the Deny button must be clicked first. A message will prompt to include a comment. Click the OK button and then enter the comments and click the Deny button again.

  21. Click the Approve button.
