Run the Tree Builder Process

In this topic you will go through the steps of running the tree builder process.

Steps:

1. Click in the User ID field.

   Step 1

2. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "rebecca.west"
    into the User ID field.
   Step 2

3. Click in the Password field.

   Step 3

4. a valid value
    e.g.
   Enter
    "welcome1"
    into the Password field.
   Step 4

5. Click the Sign In button.

   Step 5

6. Click the Main Menu button.

   Step 6

7. Click the Set Up HCM menu.

   Step 7

8. Click the Common Definitions menu.

   Step 8

9. Click the Org Chart Viewer menu.

   Step 9

10. Click the Tree Builder Run Control menu.

    Step 10

11. Click the Add a New Value tab.

    Step 11

12. Click in the Run Control ID field.

    Step 12

13. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "RW"
     into the Run Control ID field.
    Step 13

14. Click the Add button.

    Step 14

15. Click the Look up Tree Structure ID button.

    Step 15

16. Click the COMPANY_DIRECTORY link.

    Step 16

17. Click the Build Method drop-down list.

    Step 17

18. Click the By Reports To Position list item.

    Step 18

19. Click in the Employee ID field.

20. a valid value
     e.g.
    Enter
     "000002145"
     into the Employee ID field.
    Step 20

21. Click the Run button.

    Step 21

22. Click the Server Name drop-down list.

    Step 22

23. Click the PSUNX list item.

    Step 23

24. Click the OK button.

25. Click the Process Monitor link.

26. Click the Refresh button.

27. Click the Home link.
