Between September 23, 2024, and October 11, 2024, a notification regarding the appointment of receiver was sent in error to cases identified as Petition for Appointment of A Receiver. The notice that was sent did not change the original result or current status of the case. A follow up Notification of Notice Sent in Error has been mailed to parties that received the errored notice.
The District Court hears landlord/tenant cases, replevin actions, traffic violations, criminal cases classified as misdemeanors and certain felonies, and civil cases in the amount of $30,000 or less. The District Court does not conduct jury trials.
