In this Time Insight topic, you will retrieve data about employees using search criteria based on your time manager security roles.
Steps:
Click the Main Menu button.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Insights menu.
Step 3Click the Time Insight menu.
Step 4Any information retrieved from this page will display based on your time manager security roles.
Step 5For this example, you will view Comp Time Earned and Comp Time Taken for an employee within the time frame of 01/06/2016 to 06/20/2016.
Step 6Click the Look up Employee ID button.
Step 7From your list of employees, select the employee you want to retrieve information for.
For this example, you will select the EMPL ID for JOHN HAMMELL. Click the 000004285 link.
Step 8Notice the Start Date and End Date is defaulted. You can change the dates by clicking on the calendar button or entering the date into the fields.
For this example, you will only change the Start Date.
Step 9Click the Look up Add TRC (Time Reporting Code) button.
Step 11The Look Up Add TRC will display a list of Time Reporting Codes.
Step 12For this example, you want to select the Time Reporting Code for Comp Time Earned.
Click the CPTEN link.
Step 13The first Time Reporting Code (TRC) you selected will display here.
The Time Insight allows you to enter more than one Job Code, Department, Location, District and TRC.
Now you will add another TRC.
Step 14Click the Look up Add TRC (Time Reporting Code) button.

You will select the Time Reporting Code for Comp Time Taken.
Click the CMPTK link.
Step 16Both of the Time Reporting Codes you selected will display here.
Step 17The Search button is to view the results based on the search criteria.
The Clear button is to delete the search criteria.
The Export button isto download the search results into an Excel spreadsheet.
Step 18Click the Search button to view the results based on the search criteria.
Step 19The results will display below.
Step 20Click the Vertical scrollbar to view the results.
Step 21Click the Horizontal scrollbar, to view the right side of the report.
Step 22Click the Horizontal scrollbar.
Step 23Click the Vertical scrollbar to return to the search criteria.
Step 24Click the Clear button to delete the previous search criteria.
You will now search using different criteria.
Step 25For this example, you will view the employees that took a Holiday within the time frame of 01/06/2016 to 06/06/2016.
Step 26You do not have to enter the Employee ID because you want to see all the employees for this example.
Step 27Click the Look up Add TRC (Time Reporting Code) button.
Step 30For this example, you want to select the Time Reporting Code for Holiday.
Click the HOLPD link.
