Position Insight


Concept

In this Position topic, you will retrieve data about employees using search criteria based on your time manager security roles.

 


Steps:

  1. Click the Main Menu button.

  2. Click the HCM Systems menu.

  3. Click the Insights menu.

  4. Click the Position Insight menu.

  5. Any information retrieved from this page will display based on your time manager security roles. 

     

    For example, this manager only has access to CC Baltimore County.

  6. For this example, you will view the position detail information for a specfic Position Number.

     e.g.
    Enter
     "059131"
     into the Position Number field.

  8. The Search button is to view the results based on the search criteria.

     

    The Clear button is to delete the search criteria.

     

    The Export button isto download the search results into an Excel spreadsheet.

  9. Click the Search button to view the results based on the search criteria.

  10. Click the Vertical scrollbar to view the results.

  11. The defaulted Position tab shows details of the Position.

  12. Click the Position Funding tab to view the details of the position funding.

  13. Click the Position tab to return to the Position detail information.

  14. Click the Clear button to delete the previous search criteria.

     

    You will now search using different criteria.

  15. For this example, you will view all regular full-time budgeted vacant positions within the Civil and Civil Family Services Department.

  16. Click the Status drop-down list.

  21. The Look Up Department will display a list of Departments.

  22. For this example, you want to select the Department for Civil.

     

    Click the 1003107 link.

  23. The first Department you selected will display here.

     

    The Position Insight allows you to enter more than one Job Code, Department, Location Code and District.

     

    Now you will add another Department.

  24. Click the Look up Department button.

  25. You will select the Department for Civil/Family Services.

     

    Click the 1003111 link.

  26. Both of the Departments you selected will display here.

  27. Click the Regular/Temporary drop-down list.
