The Performance Insight allows you to retrieve data about employee performance documents using search criteria based on your manager/security roles.
Steps:
Click the Main Menu menu.
Step 1Click the HCM Systems menu.
Step 2Click the Insights menu.
Step 3Click the Performance Insight menu.
Step 4The Performance Insight page provides a comprehensive view on the status of employee performance documents. A report of the status information can be generated by using document type, time frame or due date criteria. If a specific employee’s information is needed, the report can be generated using Employee ID or Last/First Name search criteria.
Step 5If you click Search and do not select any criteria, all employees that fall under your security access will appear. For this example we have security to view employees of the DC Fiscal Department.
Click the Search button.
Step 6Click the Horizontal scrollbar to move to the right side of the page and view all of the columns.
Step 7Click the Horizontal scrollbar to move back to the left side of the page.
Step 8Click the Export button to download the search results into an Excel spreadsheet.
Step 9You can choose to Save File or Open with Microsoft Excel. For this example, you will open the file.
Click the OK button.
Step 10Once the file is open, you are able to filter, sort, etc. just as you would any other Excel file.
Step 11Click the Minimize button to return to the Performance Insight page.
Step 12Click the Clear button.
Step 13Click the Look up Document Type button.
Step 14Click the PERFFACT link.
Step 15Click the Search button.
Step 16Click the Horizontal scrollbar and move down the page to view all employees with a performance appraisal in the DC Fiscal department.
Step 17Click the Horizontal scrollbar to move back up the page.
Step 18Click the Clear button.
Step 19You can also search using a specified time period. For this example, you will search March 2016.
Click the From Date calendar.
Step 20Click the drop-down list for months.
Step 21Click the March list item.
Step 22Click the 1st as the From Date.
Step 23Click the To Date calendar.
Step 24Click the drop-down list for months.
Step 25Click the March list item.
Step 26Click the 31st as the To Date.
Step 27Click the Search button.
Step 28There are 2 performance documents within the month of March 2016. One is in progress and the other is completed. One was created by her direct report and the other one is her performance document.
Step 29Click the Clear button.
Step 30Click the Document Status drop-down list.
Step 31Click the Evaluation list item.
Step 32Click the Search button.
Step 33There is only 1 employee in the DC Fiscal department with a performance evaluation is in progress.
Step 34Click the Clear button.
Step 35Click the Home link.
Step 36Click the Sign out link.
Step 37You have completed the Performance Insight.
