External Grants

Notify the Department of Procurement, Contract & Grant Administration

All courts, Judicial Units and departments within the Judiciary must advise the Department of Procurement, Contract and Grant Administration of the intent to apply for external funding via e-mail to the Judiciary Grants Coordinator.

Funding Requests for External Funding

The Administrative Office of the Courts submits funding requests for external funding for the following:

  • The Court of Appeals
  • The Court of Special Appeals
  • The Offices of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
  • The District Court of Maryland
  • The units organized within the Judicial Branch

Funding requests including, but not limited to: grant applications, Cooperative Reimbursement Agreements and interagency agreements for Circuit Court projects are submitted through the county/city fiscal authority in adherence with county/city external funding policies. Circuit Courts unable to submit external funding requests through their county/city fiscal authority shall consult with the (AOC) Department of Procurement, Contract & Grant Administration.
