- Allows the court to order the respondent to remove or reposition a device used for visual surveillance within 15 days of the date of the order and to refrain from further visual surveillance of the person for whom the relief is sought.

- Allows a defendant to file a civil claim for unpaid medical debt and providing the filer notice that they must list the defendant's primary address if filing for the collection of unpaid medical debt.

- Adds a date of birth line identifier to the marriage license.
HB0413, Ch. 136: Criminal Law - Controlled Dangerous Substances and Firearms
- Allows defendants that are serving a mandatory minimum sentence for certain violations under Criminal Law §§ 5-612 and 5-613 to apply to the court for reconsideration of the mandatory minimum sentence.

- Allows the court to consider whether a military order of protection has been issued against the respondent for the same or similar conduct against the person eligible for relief.
HB0767, Ch. 563: Real Property - Landlord and Tenant - Procedures for Failure to Pay Rent, Breach of Lease, and Tenant Holding Over
- New forms pending for when a court has issued a warrant of restitution to a landlord under Real Property § 8-401 (failure to pay rent), § 8-402 (tenant holding over), and § 8-402.1 (breach of lease). The landlord shall provide written notice to the tenant of the date on which the warrant of restitution is scheduled by: first–class mail with certificate of mailing, posting the notice on the front door of the leased premises, taking a date-stamped photograph of the notice posted on the front door, and sending the notice via email or text (if able).
HB0853, Ch. 96 - Postconviction Review - Procedure to Reduce Duration of Sentence (Maryland Second Look Act)
- Allows defendants to file a motion with the court to reduce the duration of the sentence under the Maryland Second Look Act.
HB0929, Ch. 538 / SB0721, Ch. 537: Family Law - Permanent Protective Orders - Consent
- Adds a checkbox to the Permanent Protective Order to indicate the "respondent consents to the issuance of a permanent protective order".
SB0032, Ch. 646: Real Property - Holding Over - Expedited Hearing and Service of Summons for Active Duty Service Members
- Updates the Complaint and Summons Against Tenant Holding Over to add a checkbox to indicate that the "plaintiff/plaintiff's spouse are active duty military, relocating to Maryland as a direct result of active duty military and intend(s) to occupy the property". Adds another checkbox to the 'Return to Court' section to indicate the above and the ability to use a private process server if sheriff fails to serve within 10 business days.

- Updates the Complaint for Wrongful Detainer to include information specifying that good faith efforts were made, affidavit was filed, and notice was posted.

- Updates the Complaint/Application and Affidavit in Support of Judgment and Request to File Notice of Lien to include language which indicates that the request is not filed against a debtor's primary residence where the court entered judgment for medical debt.
SB0432, Ch. 95: Criminal Records - Expungement and Maryland Judiciary Case Search (Expungement Reform Act of 2025)
- Adds restitution payment information, additional charges eligible for expungement, and general language updates for consistency and conformity.
SB0820, Ch. 570: Municipalities of Ordinances and Resolutions
- Updates the maximum amount a municipal may fine from $1,000 to $5,000.
