Volunteer ADR practitioners help the District Court of Maryland provide accessible, high-quality mediation services that empower litigants to resolve disputes on their own terms. By volunteering, practitioners support equal justice, promote self-determination, and help parties explore meaningful solutions throughout the litigation process.

Settlement Conference Attorneys

The application period for the District Court of Maryland Settlement Conference Attorney Volunteer Program is now open.

Interested attorneys should complete the Settlement Conference Attorney Volunteer Application.

Orientation (Required)
Applicants selected for the program must attend both live orientation sessions via Zoom:

  • November 5, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • November 12, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Full attendance at both sessions is required.
