Fifteen high school students from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Howard counties learned about Maryland’s judicial system during visit to the state’s highest court on November 30. Students learned about Maryland’s court system from Court of Appeals Judge Clayton Greene, Jr., and observed oral arguments in the courtroom. The visit was part of the General George G. Meade chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars’ (MOWW’s) one-day Law and Order Youth Leadership Conference. MOWW is a veterans service organization that teaches high school students the importance of national security, patriotism, good citizenship and service to country.
