Please be advised that revisions have been made to the Warrant of Restitution (DC/CV 81), Failure to Pay Rent (DC/CV 82), and the Failure to Pay Park Owner's Complaint for Repossession of Rented Property (DC/CV 82 MH).

The following is a timeline of recent revisions:
The Petition for Warrant of Restitution (DC/CV 81), Failure to Pay Rent (DC/CV 82), and the Failure to Pay Park Owner's Complaint for Repossession of Rented Property (DC/CV 82 MH) have been revised to provide a vitally important notice with instructions for Spanish speaking residents threatened with a possible eviction. The Notice gives directions to Spanish translations of the forms and interpreter assistance, if needed.

The DC/CV 82 form was revised to include information about utility bill credits, due to SB 849, Ch. 326 effective January 1, 2014. Filers can use the 6/11/13 version until December 30, 2013. The 1/2014 version will be required for use after January 1, 2014.
#7 on the DC/CV 82 form was revised to clarify the amount of rent becoming due applies to the amount due after the date of the filing of the complaint and due by the date of trial. The corrected DC/CV 82 is expected to be available in approximately 6-8 weeks at our warehouse. Filers who are using the 6/1/2013 version may for clarification, manually revise the form by inserting "due by" as follows: "#7. The Landlord requests rent becoming due after date of filing of complaint and due by date of trial in the amount of ....".
The revised 6/11/13 version of the DC/CV 82, Failure to Pay Rent, is expected to be available at our warehouse by the end of October, 2013. Filers can continue to use the 1/2013, 6/2013, and 6/1/2013 versions until October 31, 2013. However, all filers MUST begin using the new 6/11/2013 version by November 1, 2013. It is recommended not to order more than a supply that will last until January 1, 2014 because another revision is planned to implement new legislation, SB 849, effective January 1, 2014. Filers will be required to use the 1/1/2014 version on the effective date. The DC/CV 82MH will not be affected by SB 849.
Revised DC/CV 82:
The statute reference, RP 7-112(b) was incorrect on the first printing of the DC/CV 82; the reference will be corrected to RP 8-216(b) on the next printing. This change only affects the Disposition section signed by the judge. The DC/CV 82MH, Park Owner's Complaint, will be available in our warehouse on August 30, 2013.
