Legal Assistance Programs/Pro Bono Services

Pro Bono services are legal services provided by attorneys who are volunteering their time “pro bono publico”, or “for the public good”.

The Circuit Court for Howard County offers two in-person pro bono programs.  The Civil Law Center and the Family Law Assistance Program are designed to provide free legal assistance to low-income self-represented litigants.
